Author Interview with Rose Marie Machario

Welcome to my blog tour with Rose Marie Machario. Glad to have you here. Let’s get to questions.

What inspired you to start writing?

I am an actress, model, creator, and hostess of Dream Big, and now I am finally a published author. I was inspired to write by reading.

What’s your favorite book you’ve written and why?

The Amulet of Elements– it contains all of the best things that I love reading in a fantasy.

What are the best and worst aspects of writing?

The best part is creating every aspect of the story, the characters, and the worst part is when you’ve finished and you miss your characters.

How do you balance marketing one book and writing the next?

Once my phone battery dies after promoting then I put it on the charger, and then start working on the writing the next one.

Are you an Indie Author or are you part of a publishing house?

I am proudly published with Seventh Star Press.

What do you enjoy most about being an author?

I can work from home in yoga pants all day, and being a creative for a living is pretty awesome too.

Do you read books in the genre you write?

Yes.

When you’re not writing, what do you do to recharge?

Yoga, walking, listen to music, and then literally Netflix and chill.

Besides being an author, do you have a second job?

I am an actress, host my show Dream Big, model, and sell merchandise on my online store.

What makes you laugh?

Romantic Comedies.

What (not who) would you take to a lonely island?

Notebooks, and ink pens.

Who would you like to invite for dinner?

Lady Gaga

Great. Now it’s time to meet one of your characters. Which book is your character from?

The Amulet of Elements.

Who are you and what is your name?

My name is Princess Ellyria Rose of Toledya, and I am the Chosen One.

Are you a fictional or historical figure?

Fictional.

What should we know about you?

I am the only person whom can rid the entire realm of the evil wizard Raul.

Tell us about your story. When and where is your tale set?

I am the prophesied girl child of my realm Ragnarok that was foretold over five hundred years ago that I would destroy evil and unite all of the kingdoms once again, and the only one to truly weld the power of The Amulet of Elements.

What is your personal goal? What do you ultimately want?

To rid the realm of the evil wizard. I want a normal life and forsake my destiny and be with the man that I love.

What is standing in your way? What conflict(s) do your face?

If I do not follow my destiny as the Chosen One the wizard will destroy the realm and kill everyone that I hold dear to my heart. I must obtain The Amulet of Elements before the wizard does, or he will have the upper hand in taking my powers from

me.
