Warning: Story contains violent imagery.
A deadly virus has crippled the world, turning the undead into hostile killers. Now, the virus has evolved. The undead are no longer mindless. They can speak and reason. They can deceive.
They can hunt.
Ever since she was a child, Rosaline has battled to survive the monsters that made her an orphan.
Now, she has a child of her own. And in a world where running and hiding are no longer options, Rosaline must find new ways to keep herself and her son Mikey safe.
She has heard rumors of a safe haven. A fortified community known as Oasis, where she could give Mikey the life she never had.
Could there really be a treatment for the virus at Oasis? A cure?
To get there, Rosaline must face the vicious Infected and outwit the nightmarish Adapted—twisted and intelligent undead who can speak and disguise themselves as survivors.
In desperate times, trust is a risk. But Rosaline will have to break her own code and trust people again as she risks everything to keep her son safe and give humanity a chance to rebuild the fallen world.

If I lose, we’re all dead – or worse.
If I win, it’ll come at too high a price.
The town of Drachton is crumbling, with crime and violence perpetuating around the clock. Prisons are at bursting point, and morale is at an all time low. The government’s answer is Swarm—a revolutionary new prison.
Swarm is a correctional facility like no other, harnessing the power of the inmates’ subconscious minds for the benefit of the town. The facility is a work of genius, and the town soon begins to prosper.
But how long will the prosperity last? When cutting-edge technology merges with humankind’s ancient biological roots, what kind of monster will emerge?
Welcome to the monstrous world of Venari. Try not to get eaten.
Elkbury is an idyllic village, hidden away in a rural area of pseudo-medieval Venari. It’s a place free of death and disease due to a mysterious ceremony called the Banishment. It’s a secret system that has worked well for decades. But, secrets rarely stay secret forever. When Hedwin’s grandmother is about to undertake her own Banishment, he and his best friend Laura Beth decide to find out what their beloved Anastasia is about to experience.
Just like disease, murder has no place in Elkbury, but it has wormed its way in. Wren Goodwort takes it upon herself to find the mysterious killer and clear her name in the process.
Soon Wren, Hedwin, Laura Beth, and the rest of the villagers are thrown together to fight for their lives as deadly, monstrous, and hungry secrets are uncovered and Elkbury’s delicate balance is destroyed.
“Banished” will introduce you to your new favourite monsters; some human, some not.
Bringing another guy into the bedroom was supposed to spice up Kevin and Jill’s married life. But when Jill insists their third should be someone they don’t know, Kevin’s concerned. His police detective mentality doesn’t want a stranger in their bed.
Then his new partner volunteers for the job. Adam Heller’s more than willing to satisfy Jill and Kevin’s every desire. It’s the perfect solution. Jill doesn’t know who Hell is and Kevin has the security of including someone he trusts. What could possibly go wrong?
Their night at a local hotel is hotter than any of them dreamed of—until an early morning page reveals Hell’s true identity. Now, in the midst of investigating a possible serial killer, Hell and Kevin struggle to convince Jill that Hell is more than just a spare dick.
Inside Scoop: Jill’s lusty ménage partners are pretty adventurous and even get up to some male/male action—both within and outside the threesome.
I ran across this title on a book blog. Between the title and the blurb, I took it to my book club, and on a lark, we decided to read it. It ended up being so much more than we bargained for.
Even though there are three POV’s during the story, most of them are from Kevin and Adam and there was no confusion at all on which POV I was reading. The relationship between Jill and Kevin was stellar and something all couples strive for. Yet, something was missing. But what? Then, in walks Adam.
I loved all three characters and Sarina did an amazing job bringing them to life on the pages. As Kevin found himself attracted to a man, and coming to terms on how that would change his relationship with Jill, we see Jill and Adam both trying to deal with their own feelings for each other. Their stories were so beautifully written, and even the sex scenes felt right.
If you’re used to erotica with no plotline, then this will be a surprise for you. Yes, it’s hot and steamy, but it’s so much more. My only complaint, story wise, is I felt the crime aspect should have been developed more. I also think this threesome would make a great series as Kevin and Adam take on more cases and the relationship between all three becomes richer and what about kids?
What I didn’t like was the formatting. It was horrible and chunks were out of line and sometimes dialogue wasn’t broken out from the different characters. Something easy to fix, but irritating for a reader.
This was so much better than I thought it would be. I got invested in each character and cried at the end. What more can a reader ask for? I highly recommend the book for people who love the hot and steamy, but yearn for something more. I give it 5 stars.

We’ve been busy beavers, here at Norns, working to get some new releases published in the next few months. We’ve decided to take our standalone books and go wide with them, which means they’ll be available via Nook, GogglePlay, etc. However, our series will remain exclusively on Amazon, for now, to take advantage of the Kindled Unlimited Program. So, stay tuned for me. My FREE ebooks this post will be KU reads. Take a look.

The other day I was complaining to my sister about how much litter has accumulated around the apartment complex I live in. Which got us talking about the camping trips we shared as a family when younger. My family was dirt poor, so the only vacation my dad could afford was a two-week camping trip. This was back in the 60’s and 70’s before camping became fashionable, so the campgrounds weren’t as crowded as they are now. Thank god.
The first thing us children had to do, before anything was unloaded from the station wagon, was pick up whatever litter was left behind from previous campers. That even meant cigarette butts. Yuko! This was back in the day when everyone and their mother smoked and all pop cans had those old pull tabs. I used to put them in my can once I opened it, but most people just threw them on the ground. What a mess.

And, once we were ready to leave, back us kids went over our area to make sure nothing was left behind. So, it kinda got ingrained in us to NOT LITTER. It also didn’t help that back then, there were several TV ads telling us not to litter. Do any of you remember these?
Yes, Americans are litterbugs, but I was shocked how worse it is in other countries. My sisters and I went to the Dominican Republic in 2018 and that opened my eyes, indeed. It’s such a verdant, green island, and the houses are bold, bright colors.

Yet, there is trash EVERYWHERE. Along, the roadsides, around those gorgeous, brightly painted homes, and it’s endless. And from what I could tell, most of the garbage was discarded plastic water bottles. 🤯😲 I know waste management is an ongoing problem with all countries, but it doesn’t help they have a corrupt government.
The issue is, when people from these countries who live with trash everywhere migrate to the USA, they bring those filthy habits with them. Half of the people in my apartment building are from countries like that. Hence, the increase of trash littering the ground. Not saying, my fellow Americans are any better.
But what gets me the most, are all the plastic water bottles they buy since they don’t want to drink our water. Can you imagine how much money they waste on disposable water bottles? Why not get a water filtration system instead? Think how much money and plastic they’d save. A Brita or Berkey could be the solution. Myself, I like the Berkey. It costs more, but WOW all the money you’d have for other stuff if you weren’t buying all those stupid water bottles.
We’ve been turned into a disposable society mentality, so I really don’t see a solution, but Please, Please, at least don’t be a LITTERBUG.
