Book covers. They are the nemesis of an author. It’s not easy translating a story into a book cover. And there are so many designers. Where to start? Sadly, not all of them are that good. For several years, I’ve been pecking away at my current WIP, Time Stones. I thought if I had an amazing cover, it would inspire me to finish in a timelier fashion. Above is a working cover, which isn’t impressing me at all. It needs more sizzle, pizzazz. You know what I mean? The designer who started this cover, well, we parted ways.
