If you were born in May, you probably already know that your main birthstone is the gorgeous Emerald.  Lucky you!  They were a favorite of the Greek Empire and many other civilizations.  Cleopatra also adorned herself with Emeralds.  Talk about a ‘high maintenance girl’.  😂🤣

Sadly, today, most of the Emeralds on the market have been enhanced.  And if done improperly, will damage and devalue the gem.  So be careful where and who you buy your gemstones from.

But, as always, there are other crystals that also be used and worn by people born in May.

There’s Carnelian Agate.  Of of my favorites.  May children, who are on the quiet side, will benefit from Carnelian as it will boost their confidence and help them get motivated and take action.

And, then, we have the beautiful purple color of Amethyst.  It helps protect against stress and ill-wishes.  It can also help with insomnia that happens with hardworking May people.  It will also help you step outside your comfort zone.  Something most of us fear.  *raises hand*

And we can’t forget the soothing vibration of Rose Quartz.  Talk about self-love.  It helps to remind you to take time off for yourself.  And it’s also used in times of grief. So, every crystal collection needs a little Rose Quartz in it.

And then we have Malachite.  I love the banding patterns of Malachite, but you have to be careful as there are a lot of fake Malachites on the market.

Malachite protects you by shielding against negative energies.  It will collect and expel it while strengthening your aura.  A great crystal to wear or have around.
