The early part of Summer, we were informed that the property owner of my apartment complex would be residing our buildings. It’s been long overdue. They were even having problems with getting people to rent since there was bare wood everywhere and it looked like a slum. #slumlord
So, we were told that we had to clear off our patios and balconies when the time came. I even threw out my flowers early because I didn’t want to bring them into my apartment. Months passed, and they still hadn’t even started on my side of the complex.
Then, in October, we got the notice. Yeah, So, into my apartment came 3 tables and all my planters. Then, we waited some more. Ugh.
Seems the buildings were in worse shape then the owner realized with rotten wood, so the workers had to replace a lot of under structure before putting up the new siding. Still, here it is January and they are just starting to work on our building, which is the last one.
Thankfully, winter has held off with the snow, but it has been bitter cold. I do feel for the workers, but, man, I just want it done. Hurry up!!
