Please welcome K.M. Neuhold to my blog. She’ll be talking about her new release. So, what is the story about?
This book is a new adult romance about Eve, a young woman who was very sheltered growing up in an extremely religious family. But, she’s at college now and she’s ready to let loose and get to know herself a little bit. She also wouldn’t mind getting to know Asher, the tattooed nerd who instantly seems to want to befriend her, in spite of both of their friends warning Asher that Eve isn’t his usual type of girl.
Who is the main character?
Asher and Eve are the main characters and the story is told from dual POV
What inspired this tale?
I was initially inspired to write this story when I saw a guy with a very unique tattoo. I wanted to write a male character with that tattoo and so I started wondering who that guy would be.
How did the story come to you?
Once I started thinking about who Asher was, with one arm tattooed with a full sleeve galaxy tattoo, it made me wonder what type of girl would turn Asher inside out. Once I knew who Asher and Eve were the story kind of wrote itself.
Did you have to research for this novel and if so, why?
No research was needed
Do you relate to your character?
I relate to Eve in some aspects because I was a bit of a late bloomer so I was able to draw on some familiar feelings of wanting to come out of your shell and gain some much needed experience.
Is your protagonist anything like you personally?
I would say I’m probably more like Asher than Eve.
If yes, then how?
Asher loves to tell jokes, especially puns, and looks a kind of bad ass on the outside with tattoos and piercings, but on the inside he’s a total nerd.
What made you write this character; what made them important to you or made you want to tell their story?
I honestly fell in love with Asher writing him, something about the vulnerability he holds behind his bad boy exterior. He’s misunderstood, but Eve manages to see him for who he really is.
Is there anything specific you want readers to know about this piece of work?
Nothing specific I want readers to know. I just hope they fall in love with Asher the way I did!
Okay, let’s learn more about you, as a writer Who is K.M. Neuhold?
I would say I’m a hopeless romantic who can’t help falling in love with my own characters.
What inspired you to start writing?
I’ve pretty much been writing since I learned how to hold a pencil. My favorite thing to do as a child was to write picture books. As I got older I experimented with a lot of different genres, from Middle school through high school I wrote mostly sci-fi and fantasy. But, I really found my niche and my passion when I started writing romance.
What is your favorite book you have written and why
I don’t know if I can choose! I love different things about each book I write. Every new book I write usually becomes my new favorite because right now my favorite is the next in the Sexy Nerd Boy series that won’t be out until the fall.
When you are not writing, what do you do to recharge?
Honestly, writing is my recharging time. I am currently a full time college student and I also work at a veterinary clinic so writing is my down time. I also read constantly.
Are you an Indie Author or are you part of a publishing house?
I’m an indie author
Do you read books within the genres you write?
Yes, I mainly read romance. Although I do tend to go through fazes and I also really love sci-fi
Besides being an author, do you have a second job?.
I’ve been a veterinary assistant for 7 years.
What do you enjoy most about being an author?.
I love when people love my books as much as I love them. It honestly makes my whole life feel complete when I read a good review or when someone messages me and says that they were up past their bedtime reading my book.

Fictional character
What should we know about you?
I’m an astrophysics major, although I don’t usually tell people that. People take one look at me and think I’m trouble because I have tattoos and piercings. It’s easier most of the time to let people think what they want rather than try to correct the assumption.
Tell us about your story: When and where is your tale set?
The story is set present day in Colorado
What is your personal goal? I mean, what do you ultimately want?
What I want more than anything is Eve Moore, even though she’s way too good for me. But, hell I can at least enjoy my time with her until she comes to her sense, right?
What is standing in your way? What conflict(s) do you face?
No one wants us to be together, and I can’t say they’re wrong. I’ve got a reputation for getting it on with any willing woman. The thing about Eve is, she’s a sweet girl. She’s definitely not the type of girl for me to pull my usual song and dance with.
