An exciting short story from the Cassidy Newbold, Clairvoyant Collection
My Review:
I was introduced to Cassie in Karen’s novella called The Killer on the Heath. It’s a dark, paranormal thriller, and you can read my review HERE. So, when I heard Karen had written several short stories in Cassie’s world, I had to read them.
In this title, we get a bit more background into Cassie’s life and how she survives as an empath and a clairvoyant. Seeing, and feeling, the emotional baggage of people who have died a horrible death can’t be easy. However, when Cassie is hired by a grieving mother to contact her deceased daughter, she discovers that true darkness lingers in the hearts of the living, not the dead.
This is the perfect read for people who love short stories with a bit of darkness and a look into the human psyche. I give it 5 stars.
