It seems like it’s taken FOREVER to get this book back up again. But, here it is, freshly edited with a new blurb and awesome cover.
NEW BLURB:
A missing father in danger.
A plea for help from a mysterious spaceship.
For twenty-seven years, Pamela’s mother warned her about the evil entity trapped in the mythical sword Excalibur. Now, a silver spaceship is begging her to release the Shalit to help rescue their king and queen from Brinkdall Prison. A king that happens to be Arthur. A father she never knew but inherited her powers from. The same psychic abilities that make her an outcast on her own world.
Pamela is faced with the biggest decision of her life. Should she trust the Calen ship and release the Shalit? If she does, how will she stop it from exacting revenge on the universe and everyone she loves?
If you’ve already red the book and haven’t left a review yet, please do so now. This is a fantastic story, but even so, one reviewer didn’t like the sexual content and another just left a 1 star saying it was rubbish and unreadable. I’m not sure what they read, but it sure wasn’t the hell this book. LOL. Anyway,it could really sue some more reviews.
4-Star Review:
Book 2 doesn’t start immediately after the end of Book 1, The Secret of Excalibur, but instead 27 years have gone by. Through a series of flashbacks, Sahara Foley does a wonderful job of letting us know everything that has happened to Arthur since he teleported out of that cave at the end of book one. While I loved finding out what happened with Arthur and Daisy and finding out that Ruth lived a very happy life, I loved reading about Pamela. An amazing cast of characters was introduced, in a variety of life forms. Even the characters that I hated were well written. Sahara managed to weave in several morals and themes without coming across as being “preachy”. Honestly, I bought book 2 immediately after finishing the first book and somehow didn’t read it until now. But, once I realized my oversight, I couldn’t put it down! Sahara, you’ve definitely hit another one out of the park!!!
Sorry, old teaser. Sign. Time to make more.
5-Star Review:
Fast-paced, action packed, this book is anything but boring. Although this is book 2 of the series, I was drawn into the story from the first page. I love the worlds Foley has created. They are unique and fascinating.
I really liked the characterisation of Pam and Excalibur. They were totally believable and were well drawn. They propelled the story forwards, and I enjoyed reading about them.
If you love fantasy based with a little bit of Arthurian Legend thrown in, then this is the book for you. I Highly Recommend.
