Who doesn’t love Creature Feature shows?
Back in 1971 while I was growing up in Omaha, a new TV series on WOW Channel 3 started called Creature Feature with Dr. San Guinary played by John Jones. It ran until 1983 and has since been resurrected. Some of those old shows were hokey as shit. But, some of them could scare the pants off of you. As a teenager, I was the type who hid behind my popcorn bucket during the eating scenes of Jaws.
Look Ma, he’s got Quinn between the teeth.
The fascination with being scared to death and glad you’re not the person on screen lingers with us. We’re the type of people who imagine something breathing under our beds, with cold, clammy claws ready to grasp our dangling hands or feet. Or, the closet door slowly creaking open as red, demonic eyes glare out at us. GULP!
This is horror at it’s finest. And, if you’re a reader, you can enjoy all the thrills and chills in a good book. Like It Lives in the Basement. Sacred of a creaking closet door? What about a dark, shadowy stairway leading into a cobweb-filled basement?
Or, how about a mutilated body found in a bloody bathroom?
Is your heart ponding, your palms sweating? What to know what happens next? Can’t make up your mind? Here are some reviews from horror fans just like you.
What are you wafting for? Take the plunge, you know you want too, and grab your copy today. But, be warned. It Lives in the Basement and no one is safe!
