New Cover for IT LIVES IN THE BASEMENT

I’ve been at this author gig since 2013, shortly after Bob died. And, I’ve made so many of the mistakes most indie authors do when first starting out.

No editing! raises my hand

Really bad covers! raises my other hand (See above)

Usually, because we don’t know better or we don’t have the money. Back in the day, it didn’t matter.

Now, it does.

The market is flooded with books from traditionally and self-published authors. There are 7 million ebooks published on Amazon alone. Yikes!

So, how do we stand out from the massive crowd of everyone else waving their books in the reader’s faces?

For starters, by having professionally designed covers.

Yeah, it’s taken me a while to get this point. I’ve dickered around with really bad covers to okay ones.

The first one is one I made. The second, a cover I paid for. Both, the same quality. Though I think mine came out better.

But, none that were professional designed.

Until today.

Let me introduce you to Covers by Creatives and Saad Ali. He just redesigned several new covers for me, and I’m tickled to death.
