I used to love doing paint-by-number kits when I was a kid. Though, to be honest, I don’t think I ever finished one. I just liked filling that empty canvas with paint. LOL. I also used to be that way with video games. By the half-way mark, I was getting bored with it. The thrill is starting them.
Then I found an app called Happy Color. Oh Boy! I was in heaven. There are other paint-by-number apps out there, but this one, in my opinion, is the best. And they have great reviews. I did get the paid version so I don’t have all those annoying pop-up ads. Which was fine for me since I spend waaay too much time on them.
However, they were designed for stress release. I find that while I’m filling in the pictures, my mind can wander and sometimes sort out problems that needed solutions. In case you’ve never seen how these apps work, below are some screen shots of a puzzle I started and finished.
This is one of my favorite puzzles. Mystery. It’s just a blank screen and you have to fill in the colors to see what the image will be. Some are easy. This one was harder as it had TONS of smaller spots/numbers you can’t even see unless you zoom in. Which I have to do a lot since I’m so blind. 😂🤣
The best part about doing these is, Cleo lays on my chest while I’m reclining on the couch. She looks forward to spending the time with me. Though, she doesn’t enjoy me ignoring her for that stupid device in my hand. She always lets me know, with a gentle nudge of her paw, that it’s HER I’m supposed to be paying attention too. That’s my vampire cat. 🥰😍

Agreed. I don’t always like what shows up in the Weekly Bonus, but I feel compelled to do them anyway. LOL.
