#SaharasMusings – When Enough Is Too Much

I was talking with my sister the other day and she mentioned that she had to clean out her craft room as she’d bought more than she needed.  Then we laughed over the fact she probably inherited that trait from Mom as she was always over buying stuff.  Mom was a clothes horse, but after she died, we found things she’d bought for who knows what reason.  Which then made me think about myself.  Am I the same way?  Well, yes, yes, I am.  🤣😂

i'd love to hear about your stamp collection But That's None Of My Business - Kermit Drinking Tea | Make a Meme

It started with a stamp collection back in my late teens and early twenty’s.  I just had to buy all the packets I could from Jamestown Stamp Company  Now, my dusty collection is sitting, forlorn and forgotten, on a shelf in my bedroom closet.  Is it worth any money?  Who knows.

19 Hilarious Memes About Having "Too Many" Books

Then, it became my books.  I convinced myself it was so cool to have a library all my own.  So, I bought book after book after book.  And I read everyone.  Those books followed me around most of my life, which was a pain with the amount of times I’ve moved.  Whew.

Still, I really didn’t consider myself a compulsive or obsessive person. Then, I remembered the baseball caps I bought back in 2020 right after I had my head surgery and all my hair was shaved off.

I didn’t buy just one or two.  Oh no.  I bought a dozen.  A DOZEN.  Why?  Because of the BLING.  Now, they sit in my closet on a hanger.  Now that my hair is getting thinner, I supposed I’ll be using them again.  LOL.

So I guess I should’ve known that when crystals got under my skin, it wouldn’t just be a few.

Yikes.  Not nice on my pocketbook, for sure.  (I keep telling myself it’s an investment.  LOL.) But, I do intend on selling some next year as I upgrade to better quality ones.  Yes, there is a difference and I got sucked into some sellers that didn’t have good ones.  But, you learn as you go.  🔮😍❤♥❤
