Since this work is a collection of lyric excerpts from songs I’m currently developing, I didn’t need to dive into deep research like authors in other genres might.
One interesting discovery, though, was realizing that a book like this, blending pop lyrics in progress with small insights into their messages and intentional space for readers to reflect, apparently didn’t exist until now. What should we call it? How about Pop poetry? 🙂
